The company operates self-owned SMT workshops and injection molding workshops to achieve full in-house production. It consistently invests more than 15% of its revenue in R&D, iterating core technologies including AI human recognition, wireless signal transmission and offline local storage. The production process strictly complies with the ISO9001 quality management system. Its products have obtained multiple international certifications such as BSCI, UL, CE, ROHS and FCC. Leveraging dust-free workshops and automated production lines, Smartrol rigorously controls product quality.

Different from standalone security devices on the market, Smartrol’s core advantage lies in interconnected multi-device collaboration. Powered by mature IoT solutions, its security hardware supports wireless networking and remote APP alerts. The camera can function as a gateway. When the door contact sensor detects an opening event, the camera automatically rotates to the corresponding position, pre-records video footage and triggers alarm notifications. It realizes full-process automated protection covering live view, risk identification and abnormal alerts, safeguarding homes and shops around the clock.

When talking about market layout, Ye Yuming stated that domestic business covers power stations, residential communities, hotels, campuses, mines and other scenarios. However, fierce competition in China’s e-commerce sector has driven Smartrol to explore new paths and focus on cross-border e-commerce for overseas expansion. Selling via platforms like Amazon, its products are exported to Europe, America, Southeast Asia and Australia, with the Latin American market as a key growth area. For global partners, Smartrol provides both off-the-shelf products and customized OEM/ODM services, delivering stable, one-stop smart security solutions.

Regarding the prevalent price competition in hardware, Ye Yuming believes that competing merely on low prices is not sustainable. Hardware acts only as an entry point, while long-term value resides in cloud-based operation services. AI capabilities such as flame recognition and human detection can be monetized through cloud subscription services to unlock sustained product value. Instead of focusing on short-term price wars, enterprises should prioritize product quality, steadily expand global reach and tap into long-term customer demands.
