The sensor uses pyroelectric infrared detection to accurately identify moving vehicles and people (0.2–3.5 m/s). In high-sensitivity mode, it detects up to 12 meters away with a 120° horizontal detection angle. The moment someone or a vehicle enters the sensing range, a 433MHz wireless signal is sent instantly to the base station, which displays the triggered channel number on its 7-segment display and plays the assigned chime (up to 90dB), while a push notification is delivered to your phone app at the same time — whether you're at home or away, you'll be the first to know when someone approaches your driveway.

A single base station can pair with up to 40 wireless sensors across 10 independent alarm zones. Each zone can accommodate multiple sensors, each with its own channel number and any of the 32 built-in melodies, and every sensor can be named in the app. Driveway, garage, front gate, and backyard can all be managed zone by zone. When an alarm is triggered, both the base station and the phone notification clearly show which zone it came from, so you can instantly see where the activity is — and expanding or adjusting the system never requires rewiring.

Use the free Smart Life app (iOS/Android) for network setup, sensor pairing, and everyday management: alarm volume (High/Low/Mute), alarm duration (0–600 seconds), notification on/off, and notification language can all be set with one tap in the app, with support for Chinese, English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish. You can also check each sensor's online status and battery level remotely, and the device supports OTA firmware upgrades, so the system keeps getting better over time.

The sensors are rated IP66 dustproof and waterproof, standing up to sun and rain for year-round outdoor installation. The wall-mount design with a recommended 2m mounting height delivers the best detection coverage. Powered by 3 AAA batteries with a standby consumption of under 50µA, the sensors use smart reporting (no duplicate triggers within 5 seconds, delayed low-battery rechecks) to maximize battery life. When power runs low, the LED flashes a reminder and the app shows the low-battery status, so you can replace the batteries promptly and never miss an alarm.

No wiring is needed at all: mount the sensors on the wall, plug the base station into a Type-C 5V power source, and installation takes just minutes by following the guide. The base station connects via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) with clear sound-and-light prompts throughout setup. It also features a built-in tamper switch — if the unit is removed from its mounting position, a tamper alarm is triggered immediately and a notification is pushed to your phone, effectively preventing the device from being tampered with or stolen and keeping your property and entryways secure.
